Theodore Roosevelt Elementary, an IB World School, is truly a special place like no other. With the support of a loving community and dedicated staff, Roosevelt Elementary has earned a myriad of accolades and accomplishments throughout the year. Our children competed in regional tournaments through UIL, Spelling and Multiplication Bees, and various fine arts contests as well as cultivating an elite chess team.
Additionally, our school is home to Mr. Salazar, our transformational Teacher of the Year as well as Mrs. Chavez, our amazing Paraprofessional of the Year. Furthermore, our school-community collaborated in initiatives through our IB Exhibition that empowered our 5th-grade students to embody the axiom of thinking globally and acting locally for the benefit of our bicultural and bi-literate community. This was a memorable year of accomplishments for all Broncos however our campus transcends more than mere awards and recognition.
Theodore Roosevelt Elementary fosters a spirit of altruism and service to our shared community and world. Our collective accomplishments help to make us unique however our collaborative efforts to help others are what make us special. Our Broncos are proud to not only learn and grow in this community but are proud to serve it through our acts of kindness and giving to others.
We at Theodore Roosevelt Elementary are privileged and honored to guide, mentor, and teach every child on our wonderful campus. Thank you Roosevelt school-community members for placing your trust in our hands as nurturing the growth of all learners is at the core of all our collective decision.
